Openings included market debuts with multiple locations in Indianapolis, West Virginia and South Florida. The fast-growing brand has also signed franchise agreements with new and existing franchisees to develop 32 new restaurants over the next few years in target states. These will be part of the plan to open more than 50 new restaurants in 2022. Along with this impressive growth, Chicken Salad Chick reports $255 million in system-wide sales, a 46% increase over 2020. In the second half of the year alone, the company exceeded the restaurant industry’s average monthly sales growth of more than 14 percentage points.

  • Deployed third-party delivery via UberEats and DoorDash integrated with OLO/Rails branded online ordering partner, which reached over 7% of the system’s total monthly sales by the end of December 2021.
  • Branded catering options, which offer custom-portioned chicken salads, accounted for more than 75% of the company’s catering product line, resulting in a double-digit increase in catering sales over 2019.
  • Opening of the brand’s 200and location in LaGrange, Georgia.
