The Jacksonville Trade Show runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8 at the Central Baptist Church, located at 1909 E. Rusk in Jacksonville. Over 35 businesses have come together as a great opportunity for consumers to learn about existing businesses in Jacksonville. It is also an opportunity to meet their personal and professional needs.
“Organizing a trade show is vital to our community as it allows exhibitors to showcase their products and services, build name awareness, generate leads, network with other businesses and learn products and services that consumers find most valuable,” said Shane Pace, President of the Jacksonville Economic Development Corporation.
It is a free event. Two food trucks, Chick-fil-A and Monica’s Cocina, will be available during the event to sell their specialty foods and beverages. Enjoy some of their dishes while shopping and learning more about some of the businesses here in Jacksonville.
“We look forward to the business community coming together for our first networking opportunity in a setting designed specifically for this purpose, as well as giving businesses the opportunity to market to new/potential customers.” Jaclyn Tyler, Trade Show Chair.
Nathan Jones, president of the Economics Division of the Chamber of Commerce and vice president of JEDCO, also commented
“The Jacksonville Business Expo will be a great opportunity for people to get out and experience many of our local businesses by showcasing their products and services,” he said. “This personalized approach for business owners to interact with the public, while conveniently located in Central Baptist Church, is another step forward as a partnership between JEDCO and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce to promote our community. diversified and dynamic business”.
